VisusImage-Master (Morphology)
software provides the ability to automatically threshold
and measure the red blood cells and receive the data
on their distribution by size (in the form of histogram).
1.
The red cells are thresholded
automatically.
2.
The red cells are measured and grouped
into 4 classes by their size (micro, normal, macro, and
mega). The average erythrocyte volume, its thickness and
sphericity are calculated.
3.
The erythrocyte histogram is
displayed. It shows the percentage of micro, normal,
macro and mega cells.
