VisusImage-Master (Structure) software
provides the ability to automatically threshold different
phases on the images of the polished sections (image
areas that differ in brightness or color) and estimate
their area percentage.
1.
First Phase 1 is thresholded
(pink).
2.
Then Phase 2 is thresholded
(brown).
3.
Then Phase 3 is thresholded
(green).
4.
The area fractions of all phases are
measured. The data are accumulated in the class table
(in the bottom).
