The program is an extension of VisusImage-Master 4.0 and designed for counting and sizing the bacteria colonies. It includes four pre-defined methodics to count and measure one, two, three or four colonies.

VisusImage-COLONY COUNT

VisusImage-Colony Count main functions:

b/w or color image acquisition with a TV/digital camera or scanner. The images can be opened from files in BMP, .PCX, .GIF, .TIF formats, pasted from clipboard, loaded from the image database VisusImage-Album 3.0
image enhancement and annotation
ability to use the pre-installed methodics (macros) created to analyze one, two, three or four bacteria colonies
automatic thresholding the bacteria colonies
count and measure the thresholded colonies with data display in the automatic measurement data table
statistical treatment of the measure data
additional methodics can be included
ability to copy and modify the methodics
VisusImage-Album 3.0 image database included.
